Jalapeno Popper Pizza

Every Friday night is our Family Night. We make pizza from scratch then watch a movie together. We've been doing this for years across two continents and in 5 homes and even in hotels. Sometimes we go simple with cheese and pepperoni but sometimes we spice it up with different toppings. That's what inspired my cookbook Pizza Night. Recently I wanted to get out of the habit of plain pizza and try some new toppings. I got a lot of great reception about this Jalapeno Popper Pizza on my Instagram account so I thought I'd share it! Enjoy!

Jalapeno Popper Pizza Makes: 1 large pizza 1 pizza dough ball 8 ounces whipped cream cheese 1/2 yellow onion, diced 3 jalapenos, seeded and diced 5 slices crispy bacon, diced 8 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, shredded Olive Oil 1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. On a lightly floured pizza stone, roll out your pizza dough to 15-inches. 3. Gently spread whipped cream cheese over rolled out dough, leaving a 1-inch border. 4. On top of the cream cheese sprinkle the onion, jalapenos, and bacon. 5. Top with Monterey Jack cheese. 6. Brush the outer crust with olive oil. 7. Bake in the oven until cheese is melty and browning, about 20-30 minutes or until your desired crispiness is achieved.
